Our route for 2024 is the same as 2023. Starting in Castle Square and finishing in Minster Yard near the historic Lincoln Cathedral. Runners can choose to complete the full route of 2 laps (4.0Km) or a short 1 lap route (2.0Km).

After completing the run/walk make your way through the Exchequergate Arch where you will receive your medal, water and snack and enter Castle Square where you can meet up with family and friends.
Route Accessibility
The course is fully accessible for wheelchair use. It is relatively flat, however, please be aware there are a number of tight turns, sharp inclines (but not steep) and some cobbles in the Cathedral & Castle areas.
(NEW): Be aware the cobbled areas in The Bailgate are currently uneven with some loose cobbles – please take EXTRA CARE in these parts of the course.
Parking
There is no dedicated parking for the event. Parking restrictions will begin from 5pm on Saturday 21st. All car parks affected and on route will be closed from 10:30 am before the run commences and will reopen once the participants have finished. Parking locations in the city are shown here. Make sure you leave enough time to park and walk to Castle Square. This year we are please to be able to offer limited event car parking in Westgate Academy car park which can be purchased in advance through our website.
