Definition: “Event Programme” as used in this document refers to the 2021 Lincoln Treasure Trail organised by The Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia and open for registration and participation between Monday 19 July 2021 and Sunday 5 September 2021.
Definition: “Event” as used in this document refers to any individual participant carrying out the Lincoln Treasure Trail during the period of the Event Programme in accordance with the instructions provided in the clue sheet downloaded from this website.
Definition: “Prize Draw” as used in this document refers to a draw for prizes donated by sponsors of the event programme.
Entry fees are fixed and non-refundable. Any funds remaining from entry fees after event programme costs will be donated to the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia Registered Charity trust fund and used to support the selected charities during 2021 and 2022. (You can see the selected charities supported during the last 2 years here).
Fundraising donations are non-refundable as the money will be donated to our selected charities during 2021 and 2022.
The Event Programme is open to participants of all ages. Children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult on the event.
By entering the Event Programme you agree to follow any directions given during the Event Programme by the organisers.
By entering the Event Programme, you declare that you are medically fit for the Event and enter at your own risk. The organisers will not be held responsible for any injury or illness caused to you during or as a result of the event or for any property lost or damaged during the Event.
The date and time of your Event will be determined by you. You are responsible for the safety of yourself and any children taking part and in your care during the event. You agree to comply with any legislation or national or local government requirements applicable to you on the chosen day of your Event, including those pertaining to the management of the Covid-19 pandemic.
On placing an order you will have access to download the event instructions (Treasure trail clue sheet and map) as a digital file. It is your responsibility to save and print this file as required.
On successfully completing the Event you will be able to access the prize draw registration page on this website. Eligibility for the Prize Draw is limited to persons, as identified by their email account, who have registered through this website to take part in the Event. The prize draw will be carried out within 30 days of the final date of the Event Programme. It is your responsibility to provide correct contact details when registering on the prize draw page of the website. It is your responsibility to redeem any vouchers given as prizes. The prize draw is final and no prize substitutions or money alternatives can be offered.
By registering to take part in the Event Programme you consent to the personal information you provide being held and processed electronically by the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia. We will always hold your information securely and we will not pass it on to any other party other than (i) HMRC for the purposes of charity gift aid claims (ii) authorised third parties (eg PayPal) for the purposes of processing payments. We do not pass personal information onto any of the selected charities to which we make donations from the event. Certain information (images) may be released in the public domain (see below). Your information is used solely for the purposes of managing the Event Programme and informing you of future events organised by the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia, you may request that your information is no longer used for this purpose at any time.
You may provide the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia with still or video images and other details from your Event. In doing so you confirm that you consent to the use of such media by The Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia for the purpose of promoting and sharing the event programme activities
